Ainsdale ladies continue to persevere through another rainy Tuesday

The Ainsdale ladies in the Tuesday morning flight persevered through the light rain again to bring in some great scores. Both Sharon MacDonald and Laura Haight put on a putting clinic for others to try to emulate.

 

The flight winners for Stableford points were: 

  • A  Barb Grubb 28.32 
  • B  Jeanne Grobowsky 26.43 
  • C  Janice Matchett 27.33 
  • D  Bev Yundt 26.75
  • E  Norie Dickson 31.03
  • F  Jeanette Barnes 32.00

 

The low putts winners by flight went to: 

  • A  Sharon MacDonald 13
  • B  Laura Haight 14
  • C  Janice Matchett 16
  • D  Bev Yundt 17
  • E  Marianne Irwin 21 
  • F  Joanna Malott 22

 

The sponsored-hole winners for closest to the line were:  Debby Antler,  Anne Burton,  Barb McBride,  Norma Jean Rhody,  Norie Dickson and Joanna Malott,  while the long drives were smacked by Denise Tighe,  Jennifer Lawrie,  Lori Harding,  Bev Yundt and Norie Dickson. 

The winners of the Dairy Queen blizzard vouchers on hole No. 12 were Denise Tighe,  Janice Gibson,  Robin Ballantyne,  Jennifer Lawrie and Janice Matchett

The closest to the sprinkler head was awarded to Donna Murray.

SENIOR MEN'S LEAGUE

 

On a breezy Wednesday morning on the front nine at Ainsdale, the team of Dick Ford, Doug Harris, Hugh Jones and Les Jolley topped the senior men's field with a score of minus-3. 

Kenton Ehgoetz and Hugh Jones were closest to the pin on hole No. 3 and No. 8, respectively.
