The summer weather brought out the best in many of the ladies at Ainsdale, Tuesday.

The long drives were boomed out by Maureen Peet, Bonnie Ritchie, Sandra Matheson, Beth Mimnagh, Deb Brindley and Judy Watt.
The winners of the vouchers for Dairy Queen blizzards were Sharon MacDonald, Anne Rock, Barb Grubb, Maureen Peet, Kim Catto and Ruth Johnston, while the closest to the sprinkler head was awarded to Kim Catto.
SENIOR MEN'S LEAGUE
A total of 48 players enjoyed the front-nine at Ainsdale, in the Senior Men's Scramble, Wednesday, Aug. 5, with Murray Wardell leading a team to victory for the second week in a row.
Ken Bresee, Bill Graham and Harry Ferrier combined with Wardell for a fine minus-four score.
Closest to the pin winners were Harry Ferrier at No. 3 and Richard Emmerton at No. 8.
