Ainsdale ladies, senior men's golf results

Wow - Nancy Turcotte and Jackie Mitchell both put on a putting clinic with only 14 putts each on the back nine in the Ainsdale Ladies' league, Tuesday. Donna Murray is regaining her form by carding a gross 44 on the back nine. 

The flight winners for Stableford points were:

• A  Barb Grubb 28.35
• B  Jeanne Grobowski  23.34
• C  Lori Harding  30.22,
• D  Deb Quinn  27.43
• E  Diane Small  33.84
• F  Joanna Wilson  31.00

The low putters by flight were:

• A  Nancy Turcotte 14
• B  Bonnie Ritchie 16
• C  Marlene Morrow 15
• D Jackie Mitchell 14
• E  Norie Dickson 21
• F  Jeanette Barnes 22

The sponsored-hole winners for closest to the line were:  Kim Catto,  Laura Haight,  Colleen Douglas,  Ruth Johnston,  Marianne Irwin  and  Jeanne Wilson.

The long drives were pounded out by Donna Murray,  Wendy Gardner,  Kim Williams,  Connie Mann,  Diane Small  and  Judy Watt,  while the closest to the sprinkler head was Marlene Morrow.  

The winners of the Dairy Queen Blizzard vouchers for the ‘hit-the-green’ in regulation, were Marianne Irwin,  Donna Murray,  Debby Antler,  Maureen Peet,  Kim Williams,  Marlene Morrow,  Jan Kelly and Lori Harding.

SENIOR'S MEN LEAGUE

The Senior Men’s Scramble, played on the back nine at Ainsdale, Wednesday, saw Murray Wardell lead the winning team for the third consecutive week. Wardell, Dan MacDonald and Art Koberinski, Sr.  topped the field by four strokes with a great minus-six score. 

Closest to the pin winners were Murray Wardell at No. 12 and Garry Skelding at NO. 17.
