Kincardine council should open Inverhuron-Lorne Beach gate for trial period, says reader

RE: "Further Great Gate Debate fails to change policy; gate remains closed"

Kincardine council should look at the other options for the Inverhuron-Lorne Beach gate. Even a trial with the gate open this winter.

Don't say you're happy with the arrangement if you will never use it. Opening in the winter will not affect the seasonal residents. The speed limit is 40 km/h - make it lower, if needed.

It's an alternative route for those who don't want to drive the B-line or Highway 21. If the weather is too bad, close all roads.
