Kincardine hosts Under-12 year-end soccer tournament; Under-19 boys take league championship
Kincardine hosted the Under-12 year-end soccer tournament at the Bruce Avenue fields, Saturday.
Teams from across the Lakeshore circuit played throughout the day, with the Kinetic Knights Robotics Team 781 providing a barbecue for players, coaches and spectators.
It was great weather with a lot of good plays and good sportsmanship.
The previous Saturday (Aug. 15) was the year-end tournament for Under-8 and Under-10 teams.
In addition, the Kincardine Tim-Br Mart Under-19 boys soccer team earned the title of undefeated league champion for the season. And, despite the heat, the boys won the tournament championship in Markdale, Saturday, Aug. 15.
