​Shawna Small, Penny Ludwig-Sarx tie for top spot in “A” Flight in ladies’ league at Ainsdale Golf Course

Shawna Small and Penny Ludwig-Sarx tied for top spot in “A” Flight in the ladies’ league, Tuesday (Sept. 10), at Ainsdale Golf Course, with a net score of 32.

In third, was Linda MacTavish, with 33. Skins winners, were Diane Sutter, Denise Tighe and Sandy Petter.

"B” Flight: Judy Gordon, 31; tied for second, Bev Spence and Gloria Coulter, 32. Skins winners, were Spence, Shirley Cole, Lesley MacGregor, Brenda Ackert and Cathy Alcombrack.

“C” Flight: Kathy Buehlow, 30; Gail MacIntosh, 32; Carole Stallworthy, 33. Skins winners, were Ruth Johnston and Stallworthy.

“D” Flight: Val Taves, 29; Kelly Lichtenberg, 30; Lindsay Desmond, 31. Skins winners, were Donna Tiernan, Lichtenberg, Taves, Melanie Merkt and Deb Bodkin.

There were 81 ladies on hand for a round of golf. The 50-50 winner was Cindy Schmidt, $40.50.
