Bulldogs down Wingham, but lose to Mount Forest on the weekend
The Kincardine Bulldogs defeated Wingham but lost to Mount Forest, in PJHL action on the weekend.
The ‘Dogs travelled to Wingham, Friday night, and brought home a 5-1 win.
Goal-scorers were Trent Houghton, Jordan Beisel, Chad Lawrence, Carter Servais and Caeleb Bowler, with assists to Bowler (2), Aiden Yarde (2), Lawrence, Jordan Moulton (3), Bryce Martin and Houghton.
Kincardine goalie Rowen Cherrett made 26 saves on 27 shots.
Back at the Davidson Centre, Saturday night, it was a different story, as the ‘Dogs ended up on the bottom end of a 6-1 score, against Mount Forest. Bowler had the lone goal for Kincardine, from Moulton and Yarde.
Bulldogs goalie Ryan Tanner made 40 saves on 46 shots.
The ‘Dogs have two home games this weekend, taking on Hanover, Friday, Dec. 20, at 8:30 p.m., at the Davidson Centre; and facing Mitchell, Sunday, Dec. 22, at 3 p.m.
