Kincardine Community Living golf classic raises $21,000
Community Living of Kincardine and District has exceeded its goal, raising $21,000 at the 17th annual charity golf classic, held Friday, July 18, at Ainsdale Golf Course.

With 116 golfers and the amount raised, Community Living is thankful to the community sponsors, golfers, title sponsor 2M Power and change-maker sponsor NPX, for their unwavering support and generosity.

This is the agency’s largest fund-raising event, with the money raised used to develop greater independence for supported individuals through social and life-skill building, job readiness, employment, and much more. This year, the funds raised will be used to enhance programs and services for all people supported, those with developmental disabilities, and all people age 55-plus.

“The success of the charity golf classic is a true reflection of the generosity and spirit of our community,” says Andy Swan, executive director of Community Living of Kincardine and District. “We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, golfers, and volunteers for helping us raise vital funds that support people with developmental disabilities and adults age 55-plus in our community. Thank you for being part of this meaningful day.”
