Kincardine U13 girls earn hard-fought win against Strathroy
After a season filled with determination, hard work, and a few heartbreaking losses, the Kincardine U13 girls soccer team finally saw its efforts pay off with a thrilling 2–1 victory over Strathroy.

It was a tough, well-matched game from start to finish. The girls held strong, defensively, shutting down scoring opportunities for the opposition while capitalizing on their own chances. Both goals for Kincardine were netted by Stella Gowan, with excellent assists from Cali Aljoe.

The defensive backbone of the team was anchored by incredible goaltending from Naomi Jorgensen and Lily Semmens, along with a strong performance from Mya Gracie who excelled in the newly-established stopper position. Every player contributed, digging deep in the late-summer heat and showcasing the skills and strategies the team has been developing in training.

The team extends a huge thank-you to its sponsors; sunlit strategic, UBC Local 2222, and Refined Rejuvenation, whose support makes the season possible.

With only two games left in the season, it’s incredible to see how much the team has grown! Wins and losses aside, it’s been an amazing season filled with progress, teamwork and so many proud moments.
