Marion McDonald of Kincardine remembered for her gentle presence, warm smile, and loving heart
Marion McDonald (nee Park) of Kincardine, died Dec. 2, 2025, at the age of 91. Marion entered her eternal rest surrounded by her family. We take comfort in knowing she is now safely in the arms of her Heavenly Father.

Born, Feb. 9,1934, in Parkhill, she was the daughter of the late William and Irene Park. Marion lived her life with a warm heart, and an unwavering devotion to her family.

Marion is lovingly survived by her children, Anna (Jake) Smith, Laura (Garry) Farrell, Mark McDonald, Peter (Sharon) McDonald, and Jill (Stuart) DeCoste; her grandchildren, Jason, Jenny, Holly, Bethany, Luke, Sarah, David, Patrick, Jessica, Mia, Amber, Braeden, Tessa, and Tara; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Donald McDonald; son, Philip McDonald; siblings and their spouses, Bob (Carol) Park, Eleanor (Fred) Sadler, and Donald Park.

Marion’s earthly joys were cooking, baking, and listening to her favourite classic country music. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She treasured every visit, every celebration, and every shared moment. Her gentle presence, warm smile, and loving heart will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Though our hearts mourn, we trust in God’s promise that we will meet again.

A private family service will be held at the Davey Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine.

Interment, Kincardine Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Ontario or Lighthouse Fellowship Baptist Church, Kincardine, would be appreciated by the family.
