Huron County OPP food drive in Goderich is a success
(GODERICH, ON) - The Huron County OPP Auxiliary Unit, in co-operation with Zehrs Grocery Store in Goderich, hosted the annual "Stuff-a-Cruiser" food drive, Saturday.
The four-hour event was a success, with a total of 220 pre-packaged food bags donated by the public, which equates to 2,200 pounds of food! Additionally, $715 in monetary donations were received. All donations will be distributed to local families in need through the Salvation Army.
A big thank you to everyone who generously donated to this worthwhile initiative, and to our valued community partner - Goderich Zehrs store.
