Peter Tucker of Kincardine dies at the age of 78

Peter Daryl Tucker of Kincardine took his last breath, Dec. 3, 2025, completing his earthly journey at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton.

Loving husband and soulmate of Cheryll (nee Harwood).

Fondly remembered by his only sibling, Patricia (Eldridge); and cherished uncle and mentor of her family and many cousins.

Peter taught high school at Bluevale Collegiate in Waterloo, for more than 30 years.

He was a trooper to agree to endure the hope of steps forward in cancer treatment for more than five years, and then watch that progress wash away like a sand castle against the wave of disease.

A Celebration of Peter’s life will be held in the spring at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine; details to follow once finalized.
