Huron-Kinloss resident charged with impaired driving
(KINCARDINE, ON) - Dec. 8, at approximately 5:40 a.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP was on general patrol along Highway 9, east of Kincardine, and stopped to check a vehicle that had left the roadway.
The investigating officer spoke with the driver and detected signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device was administered, resulting in a fail. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Daniel RHODY, 45, of Huron-Kinloss, was charged with Operation while impaired - B.A.C. 80-plus, CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton, Jan. 21, 2026, to answer to the charge.
