​Children visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Ripley Christmas Celebration

A crowd of children and their families enjoyed a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus during the Ripley Christmas Celebration, held Saturday afternoon, at the Ripley-Huron Community Centre.

Also on hand, was the Grinch who handed out treat bags to the youngsters.

Hosted by Rosewood RVilla Senior Living, the event featured cookie-decorating for the children, as well as hot cider, hot chocolate and cookies for everyone.

There was also an hour of free skating with the Ripley Wolves.

Appreciation to the Ripley Lions for their generosity in donating the candy bags for the children, to the Ripley Legion for the delicious cookie-decorating fun, and the Ripley Wolves for lacing up and skating with everyone before their big game – what a treat!
