Seniors Slo-Pitch Team donates to four local charities
As in previous years, the Kincardine Seniors Slo-Pitch Team raised funds for the annual end-of-season donations to local charities.
For 2025, the team members elected to split the $800 evenly among the Kincardine Hospital, the Kincardine Food Bank, Huron Shores Hospice and the Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey. All recipients were very pleased to receive these donations, expressing their heartfelt thank you’s.
Team manager Rick Vodden invites any seniors, age 55 and over, to contact the team if you are interested in playing non-competitive softball next season with the bonus of helping our local charities.
Wishing you all a very special season and, if you can, help those in need.
