Dr. Aletta Bell, formerly of Tiverton area, dies at the age of 88
Dr. Aletta Grace Bell, who grew up in the Tiverton area, died Jan. 20, 2026, at the age of 88.
Born March 9, 1937, she went to high school in Kincardine.
She served faithfully as a medical missionary for more than 35 years in India, and was "Mother Ji" to many around the world.
Deeply missed by her "Australian daughter," Nicky McMaster, as well as her family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at 1 p.m., at the Salvation Army Citadel, 555 Springbank Drive, London, Ontario.
