Traffic complaint leads to arrest in Brockton
(BROCKTON, ON) - Jan. 25, at 3:58 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received a report that a vehicle was stopped in a live lane of traffic along Concession 14 in the Municipality of Brockton.
Police attended and located the vehicle, still in the live lane of traffic. The investigating officer spoke with the driver and detected signs of impairment. The driver was taken into custody and transported for further testing.
John RATH, 34, of Arran-Elderslie, was charged with Operation while impaired (B.A.C. 80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton, March 4, to answer to the charge.
