Superheat employees reach $25,000 fund-raising goal in support of MRI at Kincardine Hospital
The Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation has announced that Superheat's employees have raised $25,000 through their “$25K in 2025: Imaging a Better Tomorrow” campaign, in support of critical diagnostic imaging equipment for the Kincardine Hospital, beginning with the addition of a new Magnetic Resonance Imaging machine.
The campaign, which ran throughout last year, was made possible through the collective efforts of the Kincardine company's employees who contributed through payroll deductions, company-matched donations, and a series of employee-led and community-focused fund-raising events. Together, these efforts demonstrate the powerful impact of workplace giving and community-driven philanthropy.
“The success of this campaign is a testament to what can be achieved when a company and its people work together in support of local health care,” said foundation president Becky Fair, human resources director at Superheat. “We are incredibly grateful to all contributors for their generosity, engagement, and commitment to improving care close to home.”
Norm MacArthur founded Superheat and has maintained strong ties to the community as it has grown into a global organization, operating in more than five countries. This campaign demonstrates the company’s long-standing commitment to local and global philanthropy and its belief in supporting the communities where its employees live and work.
“This campaign reflects what is possible when people work together around a cause that truly matters,” said MacArthur. “Our employees stepped up in a meaningful way, and their collective efforts will have a lasting impact on patient care in our community.”
Funds raised through the $25K in 2025 campaign will support the purchase of essential diagnostic imaging equipment, starting with a new MRI machine. Access to local MRI services will help reduce patient travel and wait-times, support hospital staff, and improve the overall delivery of care for patients and families across Kincardine and the surrounding region.
The foundation strives to ensure the community understands that hospital equipment is not funded by the province, and relies heavily on community and corporate support. Partnerships like this one play a vital role in advancing local health care infrastructure and ensuring hospitals have the tools needed to provide high-quality, timely care.
The foundation thanks the Superheat employees and leadership for their dedication and generosity. Their collective efforts serve as an example of how businesses can strengthen local services through meaningful partnerships.
