Bruce Power's 2025 annual review showcases made-in-Canada approach in Powering the Future
Bruce Power remains steadfast in providing clean and reliable energy to Ontario, made-in-Canada medical isotopes to the world health-care community, and driving the economy forward through its operations and project work.

The company's 2025 annual review, Powering the Future, was introduced by president and chief executive officer Eric Chassard during his address at the Empire Club of Canada, with the theme of "Canadian at Our Core: Advancing Nuclear Innovation for Canada’s Bright Energy Future."

Chassard highlighted the incredible work of Bruce Power's employees and partners in setting the table for a clean energy future and economic and energy independence. The annual review reflects the company’s powerful vision through its bold and tactile design and content that lays out the path to prosperity for Ontario and Canada in the short-, medium- and long-term.

“We’re proud of the work our people and our partners accomplished together in 2025, and we’re excited for the opportunities we’re creating for the future,” said Chassard. “We know that when we pull together, we’re capable of accomplishing anything, and that’s what we’re doing each and every day through safe operation and execution of project work that will power Ontario’s future and provide cancer-fighting medical isotopes to patients across the globe.”

Highlights of Bruce Power’s work in 2025 included exceeding targets in its Life Extension Program and Major Component Replacement (MCR) projects, doubling its production of short-lived medical isotopes, and completing an historic $250-million expansion of its partnership to deliver cancer-fighting medical isotopes and create lasting economic benefits for the Chippewas of Saugeen and Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nations.

“Ontario's Integrated Energy Plan lays the groundwork to meet growing demand by expanding nuclear power, on-time and on-budget,” said Ontario energy minister Stephen Lecce. “Bruce Power is at the heart of our plan to grow our economy, with over 90 per cent of every dollar stamped with made-in-Canada, proudly leveraging Canadian workers, technology, fuels, and advanced supply chains.”
