His career has spanned decades of change in medicine, from early advancements in treatment to the development of modern, team-based care. Throughout it all, he remained committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care.

Reflecting on his time in practice, Gurbin shared his deep appreciation for the community he has served.

For most of the past 60 years, I have been privileged to work in the Kincardine and area medical community,” he said. “I am especially grateful for the patients who have been part of our medical practice. They represent the core of a community that has experienced tremendous change with resilience and good nature.”

Gurbin has also been a strong advocate for local health care, contributing to the growth and strength of medical services in Kincardine and helping to support a model of care that continues to benefit residents today.
