Warm, sunny weather for ladies and senior men's golf at Ainsdale
The Ainsdale ladies were once again blessed with a warm, sunny Tuesday and the scoring showed with good results.
 

Marg Firth carded an astounding round with 44 Stableford points, and Edie Fotheringham set the bar for putting with a lucky 13 putts on the back nine.

 

The flight winners for Stableford points were;  A Sharon MacDonald 33,  B Antoinetta MacDonald 31,  C Marlene Morrow 35,  D Muriel Cochrane 38,  E Marg Firth 44

 

The low putters by flight were;  A Karen Neilipovitz 14,  B Sandy Petter 16,  C Marlene Morrow 14,  D Edie Fotheringham 13,  E Jeanette Barnes 20

 

The sponsored-hole winners for closest-to-the-line, were Sharon MacDonald,  Una MacDonald,  Kim Williams,  Norie Dickson and Joanna Malott, while the long drivers were  Jen Lawrie,  Kathy Mackay,  Anne Rock,  Norie Dickson and Joanna Malott
 

The longest putt was earned by Laura Haight, and closest-to-the-sprinkler-head went to Shelley Pollock.
 

The recipients of the Dairy Queen Blizzard vouchers were  Una MacDonald,  Deb Catto,  Kim Catto,  Maureen Peet, Donna Murray,  Barb Grubb,  Antoinetta MacDonald,  Lesley MacGregor and Shirley Cole.

SENIOR MEN'S GOLF

 

Another perfect golf day greeted 48 players in the Senior Men's scramble at Ainsdale, Wednesday.

The team of Dave Hodgson, Roger Pilon and Kenton Ehgoetz won a putt-off against the foursome of John Kuyvenhoven, Terry Colwell, Jim Hamnett and Roger Thomson, after both groups finished at minus-three, on the back nine. 

Closest-to-the-pin marksmen were Kenton Ehgoetz on No. 12 and Roger Thomson on No. 17.
