RE: "Kincardine woman celebrates her 100th birthday"
It was lovely to read about Miriam Flatt's 100th birthday!
Our family and the Flatt family were parishioners at St. James Anglican Church in Dundas, and my Mum, Helen Murphy, my brother, Dennis, and I knew all the family.
The girls sang in the choir; the boys were servers. And we were all part of a wonderful Epiphany Pageant that was held every year at St. James. What a gala that was!
My Mum turned 100 years old Sept. 10. She, too, has no idea how she ever lived this long - could well be like Mim - a glass of wine and a box of chocolates!
Best wishes to all the family.
Regards,
Nancy Murphy
