Kincardine Battling Battler Midget girls edge West Grey, 2-1

Sunday, Feb. 8, the Kincardine Battling Battler Midget girls travelled to Durham and edged West Grey, 2-1.
Kincardine had a short bench with only eight players.
 

The Kinucks opened the scoring on a goal by Kristen Bell in the first period. Durham followed with a quick goal.
The second period was scoreless.
 

By the third period the girls' tiredness was showing.  But it didn't stop them from scoring their second goal, fired in by McKenzie Stevens. The girls managed to hang onto their lead even with Durham pulling the goalie in the last minute of play.
 

Way to go, girls!
