KDSS boys basketball teams out of the playoffs
The Kincardine District Secondary School junior and senior boys basketball teams are out of the playoffs after losses against Saugeen District Secondary School Wednesday at SDSS.
Both teams played their final season games against Sacred Heart, Monday afternoon, at KDSS.
The seniors held the lead through most of the game before Sacred Heart went ahead and then KDSS went ahead. However, the Knights lost the battle and Sacred Heart took a 40-37 win. Tyler Rutledge had 12 points in the game.
The juniors, with only six players out, competed well but came out on the short end of a 37-18 score.
Wednesday, in the quarter-finals at SDSS, the seniors took a 31-20 loss, while the juniors lost, 50-24.
