The Kincardine District Secondary School senior girls basketball team has won the CWOSSA championship and is now headed for OFSAA.

The girls travelled to Waterford District High School, Friday, and defeated Delhi, 44-12, in the semi-final to advance to the final.

There, they squared off against Pere Rene de Galiner (PRDG), trouncing that team with a convincing 51-15 score.

The team has now qualified to play in the OFSAA championships, Nov. 24-26, in Timmins.
