Kincardine Adult Soccer Association donates to Jumpstart program
The Kincardine Adult Soccer Association (KASA) has donated $1,500 to the Kincardine Canadian Tire Jumpstart program.
Jumpstart donations are used by the Kincardine and Huron-Kinloss branches to provide youth, aged six to 18, with meaningful recreation programs they wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend. The program provides funding for hundreds of different types of activities for youth in our area. To become involved with Canadian Tire Jumpstart, contact the Kincardine recreation department or the Huron-Kinloss community services department.
The KASA has made investing in the community a top priority in its new strategic plan. This includes assisting other community groups and the municipality in funding capital projects related to soccer facilities and other recreation programs in Kincardine.
Currently, the KASA is planning a co-ed indoor soccer tournament, scheduled for April 1, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, to continue to fund-raise for field improvements and equipment for the soccer programs in Kincardine. If you are interested in registering a team, there is still time! Contact
kincardineadultsoccer@gmail.com for more information.
Whatever your skill level, the KASA offers a soccer program to meet the needs of all adults (aged 18 and over) in Kincardine and the surrounding area all year long! For more information, contact
