Ripley Novices advance to semi-finals after downing Zurich three games straight
The Novice Ripley Wolves advance to the semi-finals against Minto, after defeating the Zurich Thunder three games straight.

Ripley opened the playoff series during the winter carnival, Feb. 18, blanking Zurich, 6-0. Goal-scorers were William Falconer, Kale Liddle, Reed Smith with a pair, Cuyler Liddle, and Jared Moffat; with assists to William John, Braiden France (AP), Smith, Falconer, and Gage Lyons.

The Novices travelled to Zurich, Feb. 20, and came home with a 5-3 victory, to take a 2-0 lead in the series. Ripley then capped off the best-of-five, with a close 3-2 win, Feb. 22, on home ice.

The Novice Wolves now take on Minto in the semi-finals, with the series beginning in Harriston, Wednesday (March 1), and Game 2 at the Ripley Arena, Saturday (March 4), at 2 p.m.
