Kincardine Novice girls win WOAA championship
The Kincardine Novice girls House League team competed in the year-end tournament March 25-26 in Owen Sound and came home as the WOAA champions.
The girls faced TCDMHA Saturday morning and won, 4-2. Then, they played Saugeen Shores and won, 16-0. From there, they advanced to the championships, Sunday afternoon against Walkerton.
The Kinucks started the game down, 2-1, but turned it around and won, 4-2.
