Annual 55-plus Games set to begin next week in Kincardine
The annual 55-plus Games are set to begin next week at the Davidson Centre and Trillium Court Seniors' Community in Kincardine.
The Games include snooker, carpet bowling, table tennis, shuffleboard, crokinole, scrabble, contract bridge, cribbage, pickleball, euchre, six-handed bid euchre, shooter, prediction walk, darts, four-handed bid euchre, and duplicate bridge.
Running from April 17 to May 5, under the following schedule:
April 18, 8:30 a.m. - Snooker in the Power Workers' Room at the Davidson Centre
April 18, 1:30 p.m. - Carpet Bowling in the Kincardine Hall at the Davidson Centre
April 20, 9:30 a.m. - Table Tennis in the Kincardine Hall at the Davidson Centre
April 20, 1:30 p.m. - Shuffleboard in the Kincardine Hall at the Davidson Centre
April 20, 1 p.m. - Crokinole in the Bruce Telecom Room at the Davidson Centre
April 21, 10 a.m. - Scrabble at Trillium Court
April 24, 1 p.m. - Contract Bridge in the New Seniors' Room at the Davidson Centre
April 25, 7 p.m. - Cribbage in the New Seniors' Room at the Davidson Centre
April 25, 1 p.m. - Pickleball in the gymnasium at the Davidson Centre
April 26, 1:30 p.m. - Euchre at Trillium Court
April 27, 1 p.m. - Pickleball in the gymnasium at the Davidson Centre
April 28, 9:30 a.m. - Six-handed Bid Euchre in the New Seniors' Room at the Davidson Centre
May 1, 9 a.m. - Shooter in the New Seniors' Room at the Davidson Centre
May 2, 10 a.m. - Prediction Walk on the walking track at the Davidson Centre
May 3, 7 p.m. - Darts in the Power Workers' Room at the Davidson Centre
May 3, 9:30 a.m. - Four-handed Bid Euchre in the New Seniors' Room at the Davidson Centre
May 4, 7 p.m. - Duplicate Bridge in the New Seniors' Room at the Davidson Centre
Cost for the Games, is $4 for the first event, and $2 for each additional event, to a maximum of $12 per participant.

A banquet will be held Friday, May 5, in the Kincardine Hall at the Davidson Centre. cost is $16. Doors open at 5 p.m.
You are not required to place first, second or third in the local 55-plus Games to qualify for the District Games. anyone interested in the District level may register separately. The District Games in Grey and Bruce counties will be held May 28-June 11.
