Players from Southampton, Tiverton win inaugural Kincardine seniors' Pickleball tournament
Steve Baulch of Southampton and Paul Hamann of Tiverton won the inaugural Kincardine seniors' Pickleball tournament which wrapped up Wednesday afternoon, April 5, in the Kincardine Hall at the Davidson Centre.
Winning the consolation round, were Rob Bisson and Terry VanGaver, both of Kincardine.
The "Just for Fun" seniors' tournament was organized by Marty Cahill, with a round-robin of five games, with 24 participants, March 29.
The top-seeded players gathered April 5 and played three games each, with the four finalists from the "A" side (championship) and four finalists from the "B" side (consolation) playing in a best-of-three final.
Cahill hopes to make this an annual tournament.
