Ripley Ravens girls basketball team wins KDSS title

The Ripley Ravens girls basketball team won the Kincardine District Secondary School invitational tournament held March 3 at KDSS.

Ripley defeated F.E. Madill of Wingham in the championship game. The Ravens' fast passing, rebounding and accurate shooting proved to be too much as they won, 32-22.

 

The Ripley girls beat Lucknow, 49-11, in their opening game, and in the semi-final, they defeated Walkerton, 49-17.
