Record number attend senior's men's scramble at Ainsdale; sunny day for men's league

We're not sure if it was the perfect summer weather or the promise of a free beverage at the end of the round, but a record number turned out for the weekly Senior Men's scramble at Ainsdale, Wednesday. 

Leading the pack with a score of minus-four on the front nine, was the team of Ken Quinn, Ken Bresee, Paul Pickett and Steve MacEachern. 

Closest-to-the-pin marksmen, were Murray Wardell on No. 3 and Ron McDonald on No. 8.

Another sunny day greeted the Ainsdale Men's League, Thursday.
