July brings great weather for Men's Night at Ainsdale Golf Course

July has brought great weather for the weekly Men's Night, held Thursdays at Ainsdale Golf Course.

July 13, under sunny skies, Steve Jolley led 'A' flight with 24 points, Etchy Schmidt and Phil Willits shared 'B' Flight with 21 points, while Dave Neilipovitz clinched 'C' flight with 21 points. 'D' Flight went to Bob Bull.

The 50/50 winner was Bob Black, and Coca Cola sponsored the evening’s prizes.

July 20, Southport Mechanical sponsored Men's Night, with great weather helping to lower the scores.

Derek Regier won the tough 'A' Flight with four members one point behind. Rick Kinjerski cleaned up in 'B' flight with a 24-point count and Jim Macpherson led 'C' flight, while Bob Bull set his year high total in 'D' flight with 31 points.

Phil Thompkins won the 50/50 draw.

July 27, another great evening was enjoyed after a rainy morning. Edward Fuels sponsored the Men's Steak Night this month with a variety of prizes, including Edward “Breakfast Fuel” syrup bottles. Chuck and the kitchen staff again turned out delicious steaks for all involved.

'A' Flight was topped in a tie by Don Turcotte and Murray Wardell, while Mitch Jarvis took 'B' flight. Joey Dalcourt won 'C' flight and Boyd Carruthers took 'D' Flight.

The 50/50 winner was Mitch Jarvis.
