Matchett Monarchs take Kincardine ladies slo-pitch title

From the high-profile world of Kincardine ladies slo-pitch, the new league champions were crowned Aug. 23.

The Matchett Monarchs defeated the regular season champs, The Ripkins, in a best two-out-of-three playoff format.

From the consolation side of the ledger (bottom five teams), Bruce Steakhouse emerged as the winner.
