Reader says Huron-Bruce MPP boasts of hollow accomplishments
To the Editor:
RE: “Huron-Bruce MPP highlights government's achievements in first 100 days”

Adversarial politics is no way to accomplish what is needed in Ontario.

1: Consultation on NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement). Maybe, but a player? NO. A hollow accomplishment, borrowed from the feds.

2: Do they understand we are close to a CRISIS on climate issues? Cost of the cancellations with Green Energy initiatives? This should be a focus.

3: Cost of changes to Hydro One. Cost of terminating the CEO?

4: Fiasco in the education portfolio: a) Teaching normal anatomy and physiology terms, understanding consent, and discussion of positive communications and respect. Not that difficult but stew in this NON issue; b) Insult to indigenous people by cancelling important consultation and content changes.

5: The change in vehicle inspection. Okay, good move.

6: Deplorable to cancel the Basic Income Pilot.

From my senior person's point of view.
